There were several technical difficulties with getting the sound system to work with the video. Eventually things work. You don't need to adjust your computer.

Collect

God of power and mercy, you call us once again to celebrate the coming of your Son. Remove those things which hinder love of you, that when he comes, he may find us waiting in awe and wonder for him who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

The Third Candle

The third Advent candle is pink and symbolizes joy. It is called the "Shepherd's Candle," and is pink (officially called "rose") because rose is a liturgical colour for joy.

The third Sunday of Advent is meant to remind us of the joy that the world experienced at the birth of Jesus, as well as the joy that the faithful have reached the midpoint of Advent.
