Lacey and Lee travelled to Los Cabos, their first vacation as a couple in over a decade, to celebrate their 10 year anniversary. Less than 24 hours into their trip Lee suffered from a stroke and was placed in the ICU in Mexico. Lacey's parents, Shelley and Ken boarded the next flight to Mexico to be by her side during this devastating event. After 10 long days in the hospital in a sedated coma, Lacey and Lee were medically evacuated home. Upon arrival, Lee was transported to the ICU at the Foothills Hospital.
Still sedated and on a ventilator to keep Lee breathing, his family and friends were made aware that it was time to come say their goodbyes. On Thursday October 10th, Lee received his wings and joined many others as a guardian angel.
Lee left behind Lacey, his wife, and four young children, Quinn(8 yrs), Morganne (6yrs), Owynne (4 yrs) and Sloanne (2 yrs). With a young family comes expenses such as a mortgage, bills, groceries and everyday living costs, however with the unfortunate circumstance that Lee's life insurance doesn't cover a stroke, Lacey is left to navigate this. As we all know, living costs don't stop or pause for a grieving mother and children, therefore, donations will be accepted as soon as possible. From the bottom of our hearts, we, her brothers Colby and Brady, and two sister-in-laws Amanda and Leanne, thank you for taking the time to read this and consider helping our family in any way possible.
